You will receive an invitation to set up a free Canvas account, which will give you access to the course materials.

Yes, you do not need be trained as a designer nor architect to participate. 

The course is asynchronous, so it can be completed whenever is convenient for you. The class will have periodic live check-ins that will be communicated by the instructor. The check-in meetings will also be recorded and posted for everyone to watch. Weekly recorded lectures will also be posted.

Advanced standing of 3 credits may be earned if you apply for a graduate program at Thomas Jefferson University, are accepted, and you have deposited (enrolled) in the program for either Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 semesters. You must also successfully complete and pass the course to receive the credit. College credit is not available for students enrolled prior to Fall 2025 at Thomas Jefferson University.

Yes, you will receive an 8-1/2” x 11 PDF certificate of completion. 

No, the course does not receive any of these credits.

The course will be hosted on the Canvas platform and once registered you will receive login information to obtain the course materials. Live check-ins will be via zoom.

Students must also have access to Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides and Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

Only individuals may join this course.

The course is free, and key readings are provided, but you may choose to purchase the course text. Click here for the book purchase.
