Meet Our Student: Ang Nekoranik

Ang Nekoranik (she/her) is a Masters of Interior Architecture student and a recent second-place finisher at the 2022 HOK Futures Challenge.

Why did you choose Jefferson?

I chose Jefferson because of the wonderful learning atmosphere that is provided in East Falls. The professors truly take care in educating their students and it shows.

Where are you from originally?

Bucks County, PA

What is the best part of your studies?

My favorite part of my studies is collaborating with other architecture-loving individuals. Nothing feels better than bouncing ideas off of each other in the studio and learning from and inspiring one another.

What’s something people would be surprised to find out about you?

People may be shocked to learn that I love to play video games, from Minecraft to Mario!

Tell us about a project you’re working on or award/honor you’ve recently received.

I am currently producing my Master’s thesis project, taking a look at how whimsical, fun, and colorful architecture can reinspire positivity and socialization in the public realm after COVID.
