Bracken P. Babula, MD

Dr. Babula is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. He is a board-certified internist practicing primary care at Jefferson Internal Medicine Associates. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and then completed his internal medicine/primary care residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He joined Jefferson in 2014, and became a Vice Chair for the department in 2021. He holds a Masters in Science in Population Health and is board-certified in Clinical Informatics. He coordinates the quality improvement and population health activities for the Department, and works closely with the Electronic Health Record (EHR) team to optimize care delivery.


Edgar Chou, MD

Dr. Chou is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University.  He received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his internship and residency at the Hospital for the University of Pennsylvania.  His prior experience includes leadership roles in quality, informatics, and value-based activities at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he completed his Masters in Business Administration at Drexel’s Lebow College of Business.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics, with an academic interest in leveraging health care technology to improve health outcomes and address health care disparities.

Emmy Stup is Director of Practice Transformation and Value Based Programs at Jefferson. In this capacity, Ms. Stup leads the team responsible for partnering with primary care and specialty care practice across Center City Philadelphia to ensure optimal preventative care for patients. Ms. Stup is also responsible for directing grant-funded quality improvement and population health projects within Jefferson’s Department of Medicine and serves on the enterprise wide Population Health Leadership Team.
