The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolic Diseases at Thomas Jefferson University is home to outstanding endocrinologists, diabetes educators and ancillary services. We have expertise in all aspects of endocrine disorders, perform advanced clinical research and are committed to the education of our future physicians.

The Diabetes Center at Jefferson provides comprehensive medical care for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus. A team of physicians, diabetes educators, nurse practitioners and medical assistants work closely together to offer an individualized treatment plan for our patients. We combine the latest technology and patient education for optimal diabetes management.

Our division is an integral part of the thyroid and parathyroid center at Jefferson, covering all aspects of thyroid and parathyroid disorders. We work closely with our top ranked surgeons, radiologists and pathologists to provide the best management options to our patients.

We also offer expert evaluation of other hormonal disorders including the pituitary and adrenal glands, osteoporosis, bone disease and calcium. Disorders of cholesterol and lipid metabolism, polycystic ovary disease and weight management are also treated.
