Rotations

During your two years in the fellowship, you will gain experience at over 10 high-quality clinical rotation sites, all with highly regarded, on-site clinical faculty supervisors. You will gain ongoing treatment experience with a variety of patients during service at the Jefferson Department of Psychiatry Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. Here, fellows gain experience treating a wide variety of clinical diagnoses and behavioral health needs for a population of child and adolescent patients from a broad range of age levels and developmental stages.

You will also rotate at locations where you will treat patients from preschool age to late adolescents, and in wide array of treatment settings. These include: inpatient psychiatry units; emergency psychiatric interventions; community mental and behavioral health clinics; intensive community-based family services; partial hospitalization programs; forensic psychiatry/family court; pediatric consultation-liaison service; public school consultation-liaison; autism spectrum disorder center; and a pediatric neurology clinic.
