Academic Programs

As a major academic medical center in the heart of Philadelphia and home to one of the nation’s top-ranked medical schools, Jefferson provides clinical training in psychiatry that is fully integrated with the rest of medicine. Our four-year residency is a well-established clinical and academic program that provides highly individualized training for physicians who intend to specialize in psychiatry and work with patients. 

Jefferson offers three highly individualized fellowship programs that provide flexibility based upon each fellow’s individual learning objective. Fellows will acquire a diverse set of skills during their clinical rotations; and their one-on-one interaction with Jefferson faculty makes each of these programs dynamic and rewarding.
