Raegan Davis, MA
Statistician
Raegan Davis is a quantitative methodologist who began her career in political science and has recently transitioned to population health. After completing her BA in Political Science at Indiana University in 2019, she lived and worked in Washington, DC, as a nonprofit lobbyist and legal assistant. In Fall 2021, she began her graduate studies at Temple University, where her research utilized critical methodology to explore the intersections of economics, inequality, and various policy outcomes, from vaccine access to democratization.
She lived and researched Cuban foreign policy in Havana for the entirety of Summer 2022 and was invited to speak at the International Studies Association (Northeast) in the fall for her field research. Raegan then spent the subsequent academic year teaching introductory statistics and serving as a researcher developing methods for detecting cheating in online surveys. She recently held two adjunct appointments, teaching both World Affairs and Quantitative Methods for the Social Sciences.
Outside of her work, she can be found religiously attending trivia nights, practicing at her local yoga studio, and coordinating reading groups for community organizers in the city.
