Will your student have a bachelor’s degree before enrolling at Jefferson?
| NO | The Traditional BSN program is for individuals with no prior nursing education and no bachelor’s degree. This program enrolls students who have completed 58 prerequisite credits at another regionally accredited institution. |
| YES | The Full-time Accelerated Coursework Track (FACT) programs enroll students with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing and 26 specific prerequisite credits to start the program. Students are admitted to the BSN and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs simultaneously — they will earn 55 BSN credits and 9 MSN credits during the FACT program. At the end of the program, students take the national licensure examination and, if successful, they may choose to complete their MSN. Admissions Criteria
Criteria evaluated in the application process:
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required for consideration
- Letter grades of A and B in prerequisite coursework
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of the profession of nursing
