The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs works with the academic departments to determine human resource needs and training opportunities for postdoctoral fellows. These include, but are not limited to:
- Working with the human resources department to implement salary and benefits guidelines
- Creating a database of postdoctoral fellows
- Coordinating career and professional development workshops
- Being a central resource for postdoctoral fellows as well as departmental administrators and PIs
Thomas Jefferson University postdocs create a thriving community, where postdoctoral training encompasses not only research, but also many aspects of professional development and personal growth.
