The years of college, graduate school, and medical training can be among the most exciting and gratifying of a person’s life. However, being a student can also cause significant amounts of stress and uncertainty. During these times, you may find it helpful to have additional support and encouragement. The Student Counseling Center (SCC) - Center City Campus offers a variety of counseling and support services to help students in times of need. The mission of the Jefferson Counseling Center is to support the emotional health and well-being of Jefferson students and promote the overall wellness of the campus community through counseling, consultation, and outreach.
Our SCC counselors are available to provide the assistance and guidance students need to achieve personal and academic success. There are many benefits to counseling, including improved relationships with friends and family, better stress management, and increased health and well-being. All concerns are taken seriously – no problem is “too small” to talk about.
