Using the Cognitive Disabilities Model in Practice
This virtual program introduces occupational therapy practitioners to two assessments associated with the Cognitive Disabilities Model (CDM) in practice (Allen Diagnostic Module and the Functional Capacity Card Sort). Practitioners working with populations with cognitive impairments such as dementia, brain injury and psychosocial dysfunction will learn how two CDM assessments will enhance their ability to plan treatment for their patients/clients and care partners.
Infusing Professional Coaching Mindset & Skills in Your Practice
Coaching is a strengths-based, solution-focused, client-driven approach rooted in the conversations that health and rehabilitation professionals use to engage clients in their care and foster achievement of their goals. A large and growing body of research shows that coaching improves clients’ outcomes across settings, ages and diagnosis. Join a group of like-minded professionals who are learning this new skills set and discussing how to integrate it in their practice.
Population Health & Occupational Justice Across All Practice Areas
