Student Achievement

The MS in Interior Architecture program provides information to the public regarding student achievement, including aggregate data addressing retention/attrition, graduation rates, job placement rates and acceptance to graduate and/or PhD programs for graduates pursuing further education. Jefferson collects and updates this information annually. 

Job Placement & Graduate/PhD Acceptance: 100% of the interior architecture students who graduated in May 2021 and responded to our survey (89% response rate) were employed in interior design or a PhD program January 2022. Of these graduates, 88% were working in the profession and 22% were enrolled in a PhD program.

Graduation Rate: 90% graduation rate for the Class of 2021.

Retention/Attrition Rate: 90% / 10% Retention/attrition rate for the Class of 2021. The retention rate reflects the number of students who started in the interior architecture program and completed the program. The attrition rate reflects the percentage who chose not to complete their graduate degree or those who chose to transfer to another graduate program or major.
