CBAT Seminar Series
This seminar series aims to present work from leaders in the field of computational biology with relevance to biomedical research to the academic and applied research community in the Greater Philadelphia region. The scope of topics is likely to include data analysis, modeling and simulation, bioinformatics, functional genomics, and system biology. Seminars will be held on or about the first Thursday of each month at 3:00PM. Afternoon tea will be served. Seminars are typically digitally recorded and available for viewing afterwards.
This seminar series is supported by faculty effort and funds from the Daniel Baugh Institute for Functional Genomics/Computational Biology in the department of Pathology, Anatomy and Cell Biology at Thomas Jefferson University. Major financial sponsorship has also been provided (past and present) by the Greater Philadelphia Bioinformatics Alliance, BioAdvance/The Biotechnology Greenhouse of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute Exploratory Program in Systems Biology. In addition, institutions throughout the southeastern Pennsylvania region assist in publicizing the seminars. Without all their generous support this unique educational resource would not be possible.
