Application Process
The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Fellowship Program in Nephrology accepts applications through the Electronic Fellowship Application Service (ERAS). We cannot process applications received through any other electronic or paper medium.

Applicant Requirements
To be eligible for a fellowship position in the Nephrology Training Program, applicants must meet the requirements in one of the following categories:
- Prior to beginning fellowship training, applicants will be expected to have successfully completed an accredited three-year internal medicine residency program or two years of an accredited internal medicine residency training program with the intention to participate in the ABIM Research Pathway ("short track") prior to the date on which his/her fellowship would begin. Special arrangements must be made for this track and interest should be discussed at the time of the interview.
- Applicant should be a graduate of a U.S. or Canadian medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or a college of osteopathic medicine that is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Applicant may be a graduate of a medical school outside of North America and meet one of the following qualifications:
- Have received a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
- Have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a United States licensing jurisdiction
- Be a graduate of a medical school outside the U.S. and have completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school
