Agency Consultations
Virtual Dementia Care (VDT)
This simulated experience helps participants experience the physical and mental challenges experienced by individuals with dementia. The Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) is a scientifically researched method of improving understanding of dementia through the use of sensory tools. Participants are asked to complete everyday tasks while wearing the patented devices that alter various senses. The tour gives participants the opportunity to understand the physical and cognitive challenges the individual with dementia faces every day.
