Jefferson College of Pharmacy Graduates Continue Tradition of Top Performance

Sixty-one members of the Jefferson College of Pharmacy Class of 2018 took the North American Pharmacy Licensure Examination with the pass rate of 100 percent. Only one other school in the United States achieved a 100 percent pass rate, with the national average being 89 percent.

Congratulations to the Jefferson College of Pharmacy Class of 2018 who achieved 100 percent pass rate on the North American Pharmacy Licensure Examination (NAPLEX). The 61 students who took the exam passed on their first attempt.

The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) reported that only one other of the nation’s 133 colleges of pharmacy also had a 100 percent passing rate. The pass rate for the six other colleges of pharmacy in Pennsylvania ranges from 85.93 percent to 94.23 percent, and the national average was 89 percent.

Jefferson College of Pharmacy graduated its inaugural class in 2012 and the 2018 class represents the third class to achieve 100 percent pass rate since then, with two other classes achieving a 98 percent pass rate.
