Nursing STEP-UP

Explore the field of nursing with Jefferson’s Summer Training and Enrichment Program (STEP-UP). This program for rising high school juniors and seniors includes SAT prep and personal development workshops.

Dates: July 1- July 26, 2024
Time:  Mondays – Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 
Cost:  Free
Location: Hybrid format with the first week from July 1^st to 7^th, online for SAT Prep (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) from Monday to Thursday. The remaining SAT prep lessons from July 8^th- 26^th will take place on-campus, requiring students to report at 8:30 a.m.

JCRS REACH Program for Rehabilitation Sciences

If helping people is your passion, discover the impact you can have in the rehabilitation sciences (occupational therapy, physical therapy, athletic training, exercise science, and speech language pathology). This program for rising high school juniors and seniors includes strategies to navigate the college application process.

CABE Summer Academy for Architectural Disciplines

Exciting career opportunities abound in architecture and design — rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors are invited to explore these fields with Jefferson’s College of Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE).

What are the “architectural disciplines”? We’re glad you asked! They include Architecture, Construction Management, Historic Preservation, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, and Real Estate Development. 

Dates:  
July 15 – 19, 2024 or July 22 - 26, 2024 required Career Discovery Week

After completing the required course, explore further with optional courses:

July 22 – 26, 2024 optional course in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management
July 29 – August 2, 2024 optional course in Architecture, Interior Design or Landscape Architecture 
August 5 – 9, 2024 optional on-campus Exploration and Design Week

Time: 10:00  a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $50 nonrefundable fee due at application; $275/week. Scholarships available.

Fashion & Textile Summer Academy

If a career in fashion is calling your name, the Kanbar College of Design, Engineering & Commerce (KDEC) has a summer program for you. This week-long workshop is open to rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, and introduces students to the fields of textile design, fashion design, and fashion merchandising & management. 

Dates: July 8 – July 12, 2024
Time:  Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
