Office of Student Life & Engagement

Student Organizations

The Office of Student Life & Engagement aims to support and engage with our more than 100 student organizations here at Thomas Jefferson University.

Annually, the Office of Student Life & Engagement publishes two main documents: the Student Organization Manual and the Student Organization Directory.

The Student Organization Manual provides important information to student organizations and includes our current policies and procedures. The manual is categorized into three sections: "Operating as a Student Organization," "Financials," and "Event Management." All student organization officers and advisors are responsible for reading the manual and operating in accordance with the information contained within. The Student Organizaztion Manual is a living document that is being regularly updated to reflect currnet university policies and expectations. A copy of the current manual can be found by visiting the Student Resource Center in Campus Groups.

The Student Organization Directory is a comprehensive online guide for members of the Jefferson community interested in participating in student organizations, and which provides a webpage for recognized student organization on campus.

Campus Groups is the main hub for student organization announcements, information, resources, and training. Here, leaders of student organizations at Jefferson can access our Officer Resource Center, important updates as well as a wealth of important information to support the functions and operations of all student organization related annual registration, business, transactions, events, etc.
