James B. Erdmann Award for Excellence in Inter-professional Health Education
James B. Erdmann Award for Excellence in Inter-professional Health Education award is awarded to a faculty member of Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Jefferson Colleges of Health Professions, Rehabilitative Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Population Health, who demonstrates excellence in inter-professional health education, and whose efforts have resulted in sustained impact on inter-professional collaboration of healthcare practitioners to improve the education of Jefferson health professions students. Up to one award will be given.
Nomination Process: Faculty may be nominated for this award by College Dean or by the College’s Faculty Affairs Committee. Nominations should be approved by the College’s Executive Committee and the Dean prior to submission. Ancillary Provost (Assistant Provosts, etc.) are eligible to nominate faculty. The nomination packet should include a one to two-page letter of nomination, unabridged curriculum vitae, peer review, and representative teaching evaluations.
Eligibility: All faculty members with at least two years of service at Thomas Jefferson University are eligible to receive this award. A faculty member who has received this award is not eligible to receive the same award more than once. Deans, Department Chairs and Academic Administrators are not eligible for this award.
