Radiation Oncology Residency
The Radiation Oncology Residency Program trains physicians in a multidisciplinary, research-based, patient-oriented approach to the practice of radiation oncology. We offer an ACGME-accredited four-year residency program.
Medical Physics Therapy Residency Program
A two-year training program where residents are expected to complete a comprehensive curriculum in medical physics, with a strong foundation in basic physics and a degree in physics or related engineering or physical science with coursework equivalent to a minor in physics.

Medical Students
The Thomas Jefferson University Department of Radiation Oncology welcomes fourth-year medical students interested in a four-week rotation. The goal of this four-week clinical rotation is for medical students to learn the fundamentals of radiation oncology.
Simon Kramer Summer Externship
This externship was established for the purpose of exposing medical students to the discipline of radiation oncology and provides up to two students each year with the opportunity to spend six weeks in our department, working on a research project and participating in clinical and educational activities.
Carl M. Mansfield Externship
The Carl M. Mansfield, MD Externship is designed for medical students considered underrepresented in medicine and encourages to consider Radiation Oncology as a field of specialty.
