Research & Clinical Interest
Dr. Martin has broad experience in both inpatient psychiatry as well as General C-L and Transplant / Advanced Heart Failure Psychiatry. In addition to working closely with the Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant programs at Jefferson, Dr. Martin especially enjoys treating medically ill patients with catatonia. He also maintains an interest in caring for patients with substance use disorders, collaboratively managing their many comorbidities including acute and chronic pain, as well as complicated withdrawal states and delirium. He is passionate about teaching these skills to both trainees and our medical-surgical peers to provide ideal care for some of our most vulnerable patients.
