How much does it cost?
Tuition is assessed per credit at the graduate level. Please visit the Center City Campus Registrar’s tuition page to view the current fees. Use the drop-down menu to choose Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences to view current per credit tuition rate. University technology and library fees are assessed each semester. Advanced Education Grants may also be available.
Tuition Assistance
The Fieldwork Educator Tuition Assistance Program offers individuals who have supervised Jefferson’s fieldwork or capstone students in the last 12 months a discount in recognition of their service to the university and the profession. The discount is applied to each semester the student meets eligibility criteria.
Any admitted student who believes they are eligible for the Fieldwork Educator Tuition Assistance Program should complete and submit an application form by emailing it tothe PP-OTD Program Director, [email protected].
Will the certificate credits transfer to a degree program?
Yes. A complete certificate is 12 credits, all of which will transfer into our OTD program. Courses are taught at the graduate level and may be transferred to another institution.
Where are classes held?
Classes are 100% online and there are synchronous classes (approximately 3-4 per course) and asynchronous activities.
How much time should I expect to devote to the program?
The Program is designed for part-time study so that practicing therapists can complete the certificate while maintaining employment and personal obligations. Students can expect to spend 5-6 hours a week in this course with some weeks requiring more work
Are certificate courses applicable for continuing education credit?
Professional Development Units (PDU) for these courses are available through your professional organization.
What kind of learning experiences will be used?
The curriculum allows for a dynamic interactive learning environment using the latest technology for distance learning, which allows access to a variety of experts on specific topic areas.
