Women in Science Advocacy Group
WiSAG Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship Program aims to develop and promote a mentorship network within the Jefferson community. This program was developed with a special focus on issues that concern women and gender non-conforming individuals in science. JCLS Faculty serve as mentors for this program. Mentorship groups meet regularly to discuss personal and professional issues, set goals, and build the skills and confidence to accomplish them. This program is currently open to JCLS MS, PhD, and MD/PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows.
Our Spring 2024 Mentorship Program began January 2024 with a Mentorship Kick-Off Event where mentoring groups met and discussed their program goals. The Mentorshop Program will end with a Wrap-Up Event in June 2024.
