The Executive MS in Crisis & Emergency Management program offers an innovative approach to Crisis & Emergency Management (CEM) education. Students will enhance their skills through the lens of organizations dealing with complex systems thinking and practice—and take a contextual shift from focusing on a disaster to actually integrating CEM into all organizational processes.

Program Highlights

Our fully online and asynchronous program is designed for individuals who hold mid- to high-level positions in emergency management, who desire to build on their leadership skills, and who are seeking high-quality education that leverages their skills in organizational continuity and resilience.

Enabling students to continue working in their field, the accelerated curriculum features 8-week blocks of courses. Additional highlights include:

  • Competitive pricing
  • Accelerated curriculum
  • Networking opportunities

Note: Students are required to attend the three-day International Association of Emergency Managers National Conference, offering the opportunities to:

  • Network with multiple organizational types in one setting
  • Present their Capstone work

Financial Aid

Students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and are interested in receiving federal or state aid must complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Graduate students enrolled as degree-seeking with at least six (6) credit hours can be considered for the federal direct unsubsidized Stafford loan and the graduate PLUS loan. Prospective students who have questions about financing their education should visit Jefferson Financial Aid website, or contact [email protected].
