Prepare for a health professions program and career by completing the necessary prerequisite coursework in a structured, supportive and flexible learning environment.
Program Overview
Our Accelerated BS in Health Sciences – Health Professions Pathways programs offer a flexible and affordable online option for working adults who need to complete the prerequisite coursework necessary to enroll in a health professions degree program. After completing the pathway curriculum (50-60 credits), students will transition either into the professional program they have chosen or into the Accelerated BS in Health Sciences.
The accelerated 8-week online courses are designed to accommodate the life and career demands of working professionals who strive to pursue a new healthcare profession — in respiratory therapy, nursing, medical laboratory science, cytotechnology and cell sciences, biotechnology and medical imaging.
Students who enroll in the BS in Health Sciences – Health Professions Pathways will be eligible for financial aid and possibly employer tuition reimbursement benefits. Students also will receive personalized advising from academic advisors and faculty to make sure they are on pace to transition into the professional phase of the program.
To apply to one of our six pathway programs, please visit our Admissions Information page.
