Overview
Jefferson - East Falls and Voorhees
A Physician Assistant (PA) is a nationally-certified, state licensed healthcare provider who practices under the supervision of a physician. PAs provide a large range of medical and surgical services and can be found in almost every healthcare setting. Under physician supervision, PAs conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose and treat illnesses, provide patient counseling, assist in the operating room and prescribe medications.
Students are awarded a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MS) degree upon successful completion of our Program.
This option is designed for students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree or who will be completing a bachelor’s degree before matriculation into the graduate physician assistant program. It is designed as a full-time 25-month course of study beginning in July of each year. This program awards an MS in Physician Assistant Studies at its conclusion.
