Students Enrolled Fall 2023 or Later
The Master of Architecture is a 90-credit NAAB accredited degree program that may be completed in 6 semesters for students without a background in architecture or a related field.
Students with a previous degree in architecture, pre-architecture or related field may be eligible for advance standing, which decreases the required credits and time required to complete the degree to a minimum of 4 semesters. Students seeking advance standing will be individually evaluated and receive a customized study plan that reflects previous academic experience. Note: A minimum one-semester college-level courses in physics and introduction to calculus is required before taking Structures 1. This may be taken before arrival or may be taken during the first-year summer and fall semesters.
- The M.Arch program has a program pre-requisite of one one-semester college-level course in both physics and introduction to calculus. These courses are required before taking Structures 1. Students may take the courses before arrival, or in the semester preceding Structures 1.
- Electives are selected from courses at the 600-level and above.
- The first-year program is considered an interdisciplinary CABE graduate foundation year.
