I am delighted to welcome you to the Department of Interior Design & Interior Architecture. Our BS in Interior Design and MS in Interior Architecture programs are both known for their excellence and top ranked nationally. We have been educating future interior designers for over forty years and we are proud of our alumni success and leadership in the profession.

We are a diverse and supportive community of faculty and students that share a passion for and dedication to the design of interior environments. Considering that most people spend over 90% of their time indoors we know the importance of our work to society. We approach design collaboratively and in support of environmental and human well-being. Our philosophy is that through design we can and do improve lives.

In addition to our comprehensive curriculum, we provide many opportunities for our students to engage including study away, internships, memberships in student and professional organizations, firm visits, field trips, symposiums, lecture series, community service, and more.
