U.S. News & World Report Ranks Jefferson’s College of Nursing Among Best Online Master’s Programs for Veterans
PHILADELPHIA (Feb. 7, 2024)—Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Nursing was ranked No. 11 in the 2024 Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs for Veterans by U.S. News & World Report.
“As a former reservist in the U.S. Naval Nurse Corps and a military mother, I believe this ranking demonstrates our commitment to assisting members and veterans with transferring their military skills and experience to the field of nursing,” said Dr. Marie Ann Marino, Jefferson College of Nursing Dean.
Schools must be ranked among the top half of Best Online Programs by U.S. News & World Report to qualify for the veterans’ distinction. Jefferson College of Nursing incorporates predominantly online coursework, participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and addresses veterans’ unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
In addition, Jefferson nursing graduates enter the practice world with real-world nursing experience and confidence in their ability to work effectively with peers and team members, Dr. Marino says.
