Jefferson Research Celebrates Black History Month

Shining a light on Black excellence – researchers share their accomplishments, role models and lived experiences.

In celebration of Black History Month in February, we highlighted researchers - from students to executive leadership - who identify as being part of the Black community in our inaugural Spotlight Series! From signaling pathways and energy production in cells to health disparities and food studies - it was a celebration of research excellence in a range of disciplines and at various career stages. Researchers also shared their lived experiences – what Black History Month and allyship mean to them, and how they practice self-care. Explore the photos below to learn more about our researchers!
