Ramily Market (Center City & East Falls Locations)

The Ramily Market at Jefferson is a no-cost food pantry dedicated to assuring that all our students have regular access to healthy, nutritious foods necessary for a balanced diet and academic success. It is designed to supplement a student’s food supply up to twice a month.

Numerous recent studies have identified that food insecurity is a major problem on college campuses across the country and the Ramily Market hopes to end that concern for our students.

The support provided by the Ramily Market will allow students to focus on achieving their goals rather than worrying about their next meal.

Supported by the Division of Student Affairs

To place an order, use the Qualtrics form available in the Ramily Market section of Jefferson’s Canvas page. The weekly form is live Monday at 5 p.m. and closes Thursday at 5 p.m.

This allows the market staff to re-stock items, maintain inventory and assure that the selection is consistent. All pre-orders can be picked up on Mondays from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Thursdays between 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Alternative arrangements can be made if the designated times do not work with your schedule.

Students are also encouraged to stop by the Ramily Market during our “drop in” hours, where they can choose from the physical selection available during that time.

*Inventory and available items will vary.

Ramily Market Hours:

The Ramily Market-East Falls uses PantrySoft to manage all the market’s operations. ALL students must create a PantrySoft account to utilize the Ramily Market’s services. Follow the instructions below:

  1. On any device with internet access, use your campus key and password to log-in to PantrySoft via SSO sign-on.
  2. Once logged in, “New Clients” will need to complete the short intake questionnaire. “Returning Clients” will bypass the questionnaire.
  3. Next, you will have the option of booking a mobile order appointment or a walk-in/in-person shopping appointment.

    • Mobile Ordering - Mobile ordering is a next-day service. Students will be able to view a live inventory of the Ramily Market’s products and be able to add items to their shopping cart. Once the order is placed and a pick-up time is selected, the order will be fulfilled and packaged by a Ramily Market Associate. Students will arrive at Kanbar 205 with their Jefferson Student ID to pick up their order at the selected time. Students will have 24hrs from their selected pick-up time to collect their order. Please note that if you are looking for a same-day option, you’ll need to book a walk-in/in-person appointment instead.
    • Walk-in/In-person Shopping - In PantrySoft, students can book an in-person shopping appointment. While booking an appointment is preferred, walk-in appointments are also welcome. The Ramily Market is in Kanbar Student Center (Room 205), behind the 2nd floor information desk. Once arrived, students will sign-in via the available kiosk or with a Ramily Market Associate. Once shopping is complete, the RM Associate will “ring up”/bag the products and log your visit. Students will need their Jefferson Student ID to complete the check-out process.

Any pertinent changes or updates to the Ramily Market will be posted on the Ramily Market door (Kanbar 205) and on the Office of Student Engagement’s Instagram page (@jeffersonstudentengagement_ef).

Students who have dietary restrictions/preferences, accessibility needs, or general questions should email the Ramily Market at [email protected].

Inventory Options

Via PantrySoft, students will have access to see the Ramily Market’s live inventory.
