Our Division specializes in carotid artery stenting and carotid endarterectomy, endovascular and open aortic aneurysm repair and various treatments for peripheral vascular disease through percutaneous and open approaches. The field of vascular surgery has undergone significant changes in the last decade, mostly involving the institution of minimally invasive endovascular surgical techniques.

As our population ages, there will be increased demand for trainees to treat peripheral vascular disease. Our fellowship program has been accredited to train one fellow each year. The training curriculum at Jefferson is for two years.
