Advanced Oncologic Head & Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction Fellowship
The Thomas Jefferson University Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is currently seeking candidates for a one-year clinical fellowship position in advanced oncologic head and neck surgery.
Candidates must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency training program, and be ABO board certified/eligible and Pennsylvania license eligible.
Fellow will participate in comprehensive, specialized care for patients with benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. Our department offers high volume TORS, microvascular free flap reconstruction, endoscopic skull base surgery and minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery. In addition to the clinical responsibilities, fellow will be responsible for teaching of residents and medical students and will be provided the title of Clinical Instructor as a member of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship
The Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship is a one-year fellowship to provide postgraduate training in facial plastic surgery. Approved by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Education and Research Foundation, the fellowship is open to graduates of ACGME-accredited otolaryngology residency programs.

Otolaryngology Research Fellowship
The Department of Otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University has funded and unfunded positions for 12 months of formal training in clinical and basic science research. Each fellow has the opportunity to conduct research in any field within the department, including but not limited to, head and neck cancer, rhinology and skull-based surgery, facial plastics, otology and sleep medicine.
All fellows work closely with other specialties in multi-disciplinary research including medical/radiation oncology, sleep medicine, ophthalmology, neurosurgery and oral surgery.
Projects in the department largely include clinical trials, retrospective and prospective clinical research, animal lab research, basic science research, database analysis, meta-analyses and translational research.

Rhinology & Skull Base Surgery Fellowship
The Rhinology/Skull Base Surgery Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University is a one-year fellowship designed to offer advanced training in complicated sinus and skullbase disease. Fellows will receive surgical training in endoscopic skullbase surgery (transsphenoidal and extended approaches), revision sinus surgery, orbital surgery (including orbital decompression and DCR) and complex frontal sinus surgery.
