Research & Clinical Interests
As a faculty member in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies at Thomas Jefferson University, I am focused on growing my academic career as a clinical researcher in acute leukemia, MDS, and MPNs. Since finishing my fellowship in 2018, I have built a clinical trial portfolio as an investigator and have been involved in all aspects of designing and implementing therapeutic trials. I serve as PI on IITs, industry sponsored trials, and cooperative group trials. I am also interested in improving care delivery to patients with hematologic malignancies and have collaborated on several inter-disciplinary projects focusing on novel strategies to improve resource utilization and medication adherence, particularly through the use of mobile health technologies. Finally, I am actively involved in medical education at the UME and GME levels and serve as an Associate Program Director in the hematology/oncology fellowship program.
