Research & Clinical Interests
Patricia Remshifski, PhD, CCC-SLP specializes in swallowing disorders and complex communication disorders. She teaches courses in the areas of interprofessional practice, swallowing and language disorders in adults and specializes in Rett Syndrome. She holds a PhD in Health Sciences from Seton Hall University. Dr. Remshifski holds the CCC in speech-language pathology from ASHA and is a licensed speech-language pathologist in New Jersey. She is the Founding Director of Monmouth University’s Program for Research and Support for Rett Syndrome, in West Long Branch, NJ and currently serves on its Advisory Board. Dr. Remshifski is the Founding Chair for the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at Thomas Jefferson University.
