Sara has presented at state and national occupational therapy conferences and published on topics such as ergonomics, maternal health, and intraprofessional collaboration within occupational therapy. Some particular areas of concentration include preventing musculoskeletal disorders in caregivers of young children, backpack education/awareness with school-age children, and addressing ergonomic workstation design when working from home.

Additionally, Sara has been invited to present on occupational therapy’s role in maternal health as well as intra-professional collaboration between occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants.
