BIOGRAPHY
Gregory Laynor is Systematic Review Librarian at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He also teaches a course on Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis in the Department of Population Health at NYU. He specializes in developing protocols for evidence synthesis, designing search strategies, and facilitating systematic review collaborations.
In addition to systematic reviews, he is involved in developing health sciences librarianship as a profession. With a grant from the Network of the National Library of Medicine, he ran a mentoring program for new health sciences librarians. For the Medical Library Association, he has taught a continuing education course on systematic review protocols. He writes a column for the Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries on emerging technologies and their impact on healthcare, information, and education.
