Biography
Dr. Taylor Goulbourne is a Lecturer at the Jefferson College of Population Health. Her research works to center communication in community engagement processes to address persistent health disparities. She uses a mixed methods approach to understand the communication structures, mechanisms, and processes that inform how researchers, practitioners, and interventionists make decisions regarding community engagement. Dr. Goulbourne is also a Senior Consultant at Technical Assent, a service design advisory firm for the U.S. Federal Government. In this role, she leverages her strategic research and design expertise to empower businesses to thoughtfully engage customers, foster meaningful connections, and maximize their impact. Dr. Goulbourne earned her PhD in Communication from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania.
