Biography
Dr. Karen Zimmer is Co-Chair of the Practice Improvement Committee at the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine. She also teaches at the Jefferson College of Population Health in the Healthcare Quality & Safety program. For the past several years, Dr. Zimmer consults on health IT, patient safety and quality and risk in healthcare. Dr. Zimmer earned her MD from Cornell University Medical College and her MPH from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
