Biography
Dr. Karen Walsh is a System Director for Performance Measurement, Improvement and Analytics at Main Line Health, as well as a research assistant professor with the Main Line Center for Population Health Research at LIMR. As a researcher and statistician, she focuses on predictive modeling, health services and data science. Her most recent research is on multiple sclerosis (MS) and focuses on geographic variation in MS care, quality, value, and predictive clinical endpoints.
Dr. Walsh teaches statistics and health data science courses at JCPH and serves as a chair on the master's capstone projects. Dr. Walsh earned her DHSc from University of Indianapolis with a focus in Statistics and Data Science, MS from Northwestern University in Predictive Analytics, and has an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
