Biography
Alex is currently the Director of US Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Pfizer Oncology. In this role, he is responsible for generating health economic and outcomes evidence strategies to demonstrate the value proposition of oncology assets. Prior to joining Pfizer, Alex held roles of increasing responsibilities across various pharmaceutical companies including Bayer, Novartis and Acorda Therapeutics where he supported oncology and CNS assets.
Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Alex worked across several health systems as an oncology pharmacist, pharmacy supervisor and as an assistant director of pharmacy operations. In those roles, he was involved in population health management and formulary decision making.
Alex obtained his PharmD degree from Long Island University, Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and his Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public School. He holds a Certification in Public Health and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Alex currently resides in Queens, NY with his wife Olga, and three children, Benjamin, Ethan and Eleanor. In his spare time, Alex enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
