Biography
Ms. Ellen Guarnieri is currently the President of Comprehensive Healthcare Strategies and is the former President and CEO of Robert Wood Johnson Health Care Corp Hamilton (RWJ), which comprised the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, the Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton Foundation, Lakeview Child Centers and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Services Organization. From 1998 to 2005, she served as System Vice President and COO of Marlton, New Jersey-based Virtua Health, overseeing strategic planning and business development, hospital operations and medical staff development. Before this she served as Associate Executive Director for Clinical Service/Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to her employment at Virtua Health, Ms. Guarnieri specialized in oncology nursing at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Roswell Park Memorial Cancer Center, where she provided nursing support for clinical research programs. Ms. Guarnieri has served on several local nonprofit boards including Chairmanship of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce and Director for the Legacy Treatment Services Foundation.
