Biography
Dr. Amy Cunningham teaches Introduction to Public Health, Health Research Methods, and Evaluative and Outcomes Research and Design in the College of Population Health. She has also taught both undergraduate and graduate public health courses at Southern New Hampshire University and Temple University. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, where she conducts both quantitative and qualitative research focused on improving primary care for underserved populations. Dr. Cunningham has a special interest in supporting patients and providers in the prevention and management of chronic illnesses. She also mentors students, residents, fellows, and community physicians in quality improvement and research. Dr. Cunningham holds a PhD in Population Health Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University.
