Biography
Kevin Coleman is a Philadelphia native bringing over a decade of apparel industry experience to Thomas Jefferson University. A concentration in fine art drawing & painting at the High School for Creative and Performing Arts led to a BS in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. During his studies, he was the recipient of the Emil de John Scholarship, awarded by André Leon Talley, and his illustrations were displayed at the Museu da Praia in Ponta de Mangue, Brazil. He got his professional start as an apprentice at Anna Sui and since 2010, has worked primarily as a freelance designer. His focus is on women's wear, shoes and accessories. Kevin also teaches illustration at Moore College of Art and Design.
