Biography
I have spent most of my professional career in the healthcare field. My experience includes clinical nursing, hospital administration, pharmaceutical marketing and sales, home health care, and health care IT.
I have served on the Board of the Central Bucks YMCA, the membership committee of the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and I am currently a member of the M. Verna Butterer Educational Trust. I began my teaching career as a nurse, and I have taught in some capacity throughout my career. I currently am an adjunct instructor in the areas of Communications and Marketing, Health Care Management and Marketing, and Marketing Strategy.
When not working, my hobbies include cooking, gardening, biking, and other exercises, volunteering at the local food pantry, dog training, and entertaining family and friends. I enjoy all Philadelphia sports, NASCAR, and great music. I am married and have two children, three grandchildren, two dogs, and 13 chickens.
I strive to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in the students who take my classes. I believe in ensuring the majority of my students are successful; my teaching style must be flexible within the course structure. Most of all, I want you to succeed in this class and be able to apply the learning to your specific career and life goals.
