The BS in Health Insurance Management is a fully online program with accelerated courses offered in 8-week terms that prepares individuals for today’s complex and evolving health insurance industry. Students will study a diverse curriculum that covers 4 core content areas in which they will acquire essential knowledge and skills:

  • Insurance law and company operations
  • Health systems policy, informatics and quality improvement
  • Healthcare finance and reimbursement
  • Leadership and management

Jefferson caters to those who require flexible learning schedules by offering a fully online and asynchronous program. The BS in Health Insurance Management is designed for adult learners with an interest in pursuing or advancing their career within the healthcare insurance and finance fields.
